About Tailgate Runner

It all started with a couple of   Penn   State alumni and friends enjoying beers at a Nittany Lions football tailgate party.  These guys liked to tailgate, but didn’t like all the time and effort required to pull a great tailgate party together. They were spending hours running around getting food, drinks, ice, plates, napkins, fan merchandise, etc; and having to make sure foods and drinks stay cold during the drive.

They thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if you could simply order all your tailgating items online and have it loaded into your car once you got to State College?”  Well, that idea came to fruition and Tailgate Runner was born in 2009.

Our goal is simple. We want to make your tailgate party less work and more fun, while bringing the best of   Penn   State to you.

How Does it Work?

1. Order all your food, supplies, and merchandise at www.tailgaterunner.com. We will shop, package and bring your complete tailgate party to our delivery point for a flat service fee of $29.99, plus the cost of items.

2. Pick up your order on game day in the Receiving area parking lot of W.R. Hickey Beer Distributor, which is just after the main entrance.  Look for bright orange Tailgate Runner signs to avoid game-day traffic.  You drive up, we load your car, and you drive off.
